This feature of the New York Times app aimed at helping users inculcate the habit of reading, so users had the opportunity to integrate their digital calendar to have a set time to read it

To properly have your users at the forefront, it's important to conduct research to guide your design decisions.

Products should have a defined target audience, this means you need to know who are your users. The New York design concept was suitable to their users (Young people in New York, aged 20-40, people that are tech inclined).

Iteration is key to a good product experience. Feedback from user testing and stakeholders should be considered and implemented.

In this inaugural post, I will be explaining what UX Design is and why it is so crucial in today's digital landscape. Then we'll explore some history about the origin of UX. To conclude, we will point out what is Good and Bad UX and how you can differentiate the two
User Experience is the interaction with a product or service in a given context which results in experiences
UX is not limited to the digital spaces as one would in this digital revolution. It revolves around a lot of day-to-day things

User Experience Design- This refers to designing to meet the needs of users, and customers, it is the process designers use to craft relevant experiences for users. The UX design field is a variation of people from different backgrounds. As a UX designer, you will be responsible for crafting design solutions through research, interviewing people, and allowing users to your designs. Most times your role and responsibility as a designer will be determined by the company you work for and it's sector

UX as a concept was pioneered by Dr Donald Norman in the 1990s

What is the difference between Good and Bad UX design
Just as we have said earlier, it's important to know that UX design is not limited to digital products
Take for example, when you were not able to navigate the manual guide of a new product in your living room thus hindering the use of that product, whereas good design of a product is useful, usable and accessible which makes you want to use it again

Friends of Figma product assessment
Palmpay- The app wasn't enough to solve all my problems and address all my needs as I couldn't engage with the customer care

The Athletic- I had issues navigating their subscription platform
